About Us
Welcome to Woodland Kids
Hello, my name is Marie-Elle Mackula-Thériault. Welcome to our family home daycare center! I am a mother of two children and a part time student in early childhood education. But mostly, I am someone caring, who loves seeing children thrive and I believe in their potential.
I have had the opportunity to stay at home with my children until my eldest started school. I then worked in a french early childhood center and loved it so much that I discoverd a real passion for early childhood education. In the meantime, I couldn't help but to notice that there's a true lack of child care services in my community and this inspired me to open a childcare center right here, in my home.
I aim to provide high quality childcare services in a family home and inspiring country setting. As a child, I grew up on a beautiful woodland and loved it. There's so much to explore and to learn for young children here! I am looking forward to have the opportunity to provide loving care and fun activities to your child while letting them explore the world in this safe and inspiring environment.

Children at Woodland Kids will have many opportunities to use musical instruments, craft, paint and crayon to express themselves and develop important communication and fine motor skills.

Our beautiful outdoor setting, with its large yard and wooded surrounding is the perfect setting to inspire children to explore and play. May it be watching the hens being fed in the chicken coop, driving a tricycle or playing in the sandbox, there's always something interesting to do out there.

Discovering through sensory experiences
One of the most essential way for children to learn and develop, is sensory experiences. They're little scientists always ready to make new experiences. At Woodland Kids, baking, messy play and multiple sensory experience are part of the daily program.

Woodland Kids' provides high quality childcare by offering families early childhood education for their children in a family home setting. Here, kids are encouraged to explore their surroundings and to get messy. Your child's needs will be met in a caring and positive way and they'll get to build their confidance and autonomy through positive experiences.
Giving children the opportunity to experience their environment is a wonderful way to promote their healthy development. Creativity, loving care and wonder is at the heart of the center's daily activities.
Children will have the opportunity to play with high quality educational toys that promote their global development. They'll enjoy a variety of activities that are specific to different area of early childhood development.
They will be guided with loving care and have the opportunity to build beautiful memories and important skills for later in life.
